Associate/Full Professor in Applied Behavioral Science &
Associate/Senior Scientist of Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities
The Department of Applied Behavioral Science and Schiefelbusch Institute for Life Span Studies at the University of Kansas (KU) seeks outstanding applicants for the Associate or Full Professor/Associate or Senior Scientist of Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities expected to begin as early as August 18, 2018.
The qualifying candidates must have a Ph.D. in applied behavior analysis, psychology, behavioral science or related field of study at the time of appointment. A strong record of research and demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching are required. The University of Kansas is especially interested in hiring faculty members who can contribute to the climate of diversity in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and to four key campus-wide strategic initiatives: (1) Sustaining the Planet, Powering the World; (2) Promoting Well-Being, Finding Cures; (3) Building Communities, Expanding Opportunities; and (4) Harnessing Information, Multiplying Knowledge.
