The Research-to-Policy Collaboration (https://www.research2policy.org/hiring-evaluation-support) invites applications for a part-time Evaluation Support who will be contracted to support the evaluation of an approach for facilitating partnerships between researchers and congressional officials in ways that are thought to support policymakers’ use of research evidence. The evaluation involves a mixed-method randomized controlled trial that includes analysis of longitudinal survey data obtained through interviews with federal, legislative staff. Therefore, candidates must be located within commuting distance of Washington, DC.
Successful applicants will be selected on the basis of their research and policy experiences, organizational skill, and ability to work independently. This work involves scheduling and interviewing legislative staff to administer a brief survey. The Evaluation Support would also collect survey data from researcher participants online or by phone. The Evaluation Support may also support qualitative coding of legislative documents as part of the evaluation.
