The Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University is seeking applications for an assistant professor (tenure track or non-tenure track – one position) in Clinical Psychology starting in the Fall of 2019.
Candidates are being sought who have relevant clinical experience, and can teach courses in the areas of organizational psychology and/or community psychology, such as in the areas of leadership, executive assessment, and community psychology. The Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener is committed to creating a collaborative and respectful environment for faculty and students. Responsibilities of the position include advising joint graduate clinical psychology and business students who are pursuing a joint PsyD-MBA degree. Duties of this position include: graduate-level only instruction (teaching load of two courses per semester), mentorship and clinical supervision of graduate students, and service to the department in a variety of roles consistent with a faculty appointment. A PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology, PA psychology license (or license eligibility) and relevant expertise in the areas of organizational/community psychology are preferred.
For a tenure track appointment, the preferred candidate must have a demonstrated and strong track record of ongoing research and scholarly accomplishments in the areas of organizational and/or community psychology.
For a non-tenure track appointment, the candidate must have significant professional experiences and accomplishments related to organizational/community engagement, practice and/or executive consulting/coaching.
