Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow with a national reputation, a rigorous portfolio of translational research, and a track record of effective mentoring. The exact subspecialty is open and will include a record of published scholarship within/across Chapin Hall’s impact areas: child welfare, homelessness, and community capacity building.
Primary responsibilities include maintaining and leading a portfolio of interdisciplinary, funded research; developing and implementing research studies that utilize appropriate methods and work in partnership with community when feasible; and mentoring junior colleagues. The individual will function as a critical thought leader in the organization, and through committee and related service, contribute to organizational strategy, growth, and impact. Successful candidates will possess a doctoral degree plus a minimum of ten years of experience leading the design and implementation of research studies.
