The Department of Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy seeks to fill a tenure-track position beginning August 2021 at the rank of Assistant Professor (although outstanding candidates at another rank may be considered). The position is in the area of developmental psychology. |

Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
For this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for teaching courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels; developing a successful research program; advising undergraduate students; supervising student research; and engaging in service to the program, department, college, university, and profession. The developmental psychology position will manage the Developmental Psychology major and minor and meet graduate program needs for developmental psychology expertise. |

- A Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a related discipline |

Physical Requirements |
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds). |
