7th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation
December 8–9, 2014

Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center
Co-hosted by AcademyHealth and the National Institutes of Health

A forum for discussing the science of dissemination and implementation, the 7th annual conference aims to grow the research base by bridging the gap between evidence, practice, and policy in health and medicine.

The Planning Committee selected the conference theme of “Transforming Health Systems to Optimize Individual and Population Health” to reflect the opportunity, excitement, and charge to the field in 2014. Visit the conference page to learn more.

Now, more than ever before, the integration of evidence-based practices and service delivery has the capacity to impact healthcare delivery and population health. Therefore, the abstract submission topics and conference structure have been planned to focus our thinking and discussion on the highest priority science—current and future—to help realize this goal.

Abstracts are now being accepted online, and are encouraged for three types of scientific sessions:

Individual Oral Presentations
Panels
Poster Sessions
Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, August 8.

Researchers, evaluators and implementers who are interested in identifying opportunities, challenges, and strategies for disseminating the findings and implementation of research to key stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

Conference attendee registration will open in early August.

To request information about the meeting, please email Meghan Wolfe.

Conference Co-sponsors:

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) | Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) | Robert Wood Johnson Foundation | Veterans Affairs (VA)
