School Engagement Interest Group January Meeting
We will discuss Bettina Love’s book “We Want to Do More than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom.” We will have a 40-minute facilitated discussion about situating the concepts of abolitionist teaching and educational freedom within our work as community psychologists engaging in or adjacent to schools and schooling systems. Pre-reading will not be required, and all who are interested are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held via Zoom on January 12, 2023 at 11:30 AM ET:
