This open-rank, tenure-track faculty position will serve as the academic visionary to lead and direct programs and projects in a unique collaboration between the College of Social Sciences, Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) and the State of Hawai‘i Med-QUEST Division, Department of Human Services. This hire will provide leadership for a large expansion of projects that have been underway in SSRI for several years and totaling more than $20 million over the coming 5 years. Duties include conducting applied research in one or more of the following areas: federal, state and local public healthcare, health economics, or data science.
