SCRA statement on Israel/Palestine Conflict.- February 2024

The Society for Community Research and Action, Division 27 of the American Psychological Association, is committed to social justice, anti-oppression and anti-violence. With regard to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Palestine, and in solidarity with the statements of APA’s Division 48 Peace Psychology (November 1st 2023) and the appeal of the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, we demand An immediate humanitarian ceasefire – not a pause – together with the unconditional release of hostages, both Palestinian and Israeli, and the delivery of relief at a level corresponding to the dramatic needs of the people in Gaza.
