US Reparations for the Descendants of Enslaved Africans

Mission

The SCRA US Reparations Interest Group (IG) will acknowledge the harms perpetrated and sanctioned within the U.S. that have profited from the labor, exploitation and lives of enslaved Africans and their descendants. The SCRA US Reparations IG will examine recommendations through the lens of community psychology principles so that equity, well-being, and empowerment is centered across the varied forms of systemic injury caused by the transatlantic slave trade and chattel slavery.
