How Are Working Parents Doing? Promoting Mental Health: Insights from Two Italian National Studies

Join us for a special webinar hosted by the Prevention and Promotion Interest Group (PPIG), part of the Society for Community Research and Action (SCRA), featuring researchers from LabCom and MeFirst in Italy.
This session will explore findings from two national studies focused on the mental health and well-being of working mothers and fathers in Italy. Presenters will share insights from both quantitative and qualitative research, highlighting the challenges and resources that shape parents’ experiences in the workplace and at home.
Presenters include:
Moira Chiodini and Cristina Di Loreto, who will present findings from two national surveys conducted in Italy
Cristina Cecchini and Elisa Guidi, who will share voices from parents collected through qualitative interviews
Chaired by Patrizia Meringolo, Professor of Community Psychology, University of Florence
The presentation will be followed by an open Q&A session to encourage dialogue and international exchange on promoting parental well-being from a community and systems-level perspective.
