Commitment Details: This is a one-time, one-hour commitment. Mentors will facilitate either an in-person or virtual small group mentoring session during the conference (June 18th – June 20th) for up to 12 mentees per session. Mentors will choose the topic, day/time, and if you’d like, a target audience for your mentoring session.
A diverse group of mentors is needed and appreciated at every level of training, from graduate students who can mentor undergraduate students to seasoned professionals who can mentor early career professionals… and everyone in between! To learn who volunteered and the mentoring topics covered during previous Biennial Conferences, see the Small Group Mentoring Program booklets from 2023, 2021 and/or 2019.
Selected mentors should be prepared to provide a professional headshot and a 3-5 sentence introductory paragraph about their experience, expertise, and mentoring interest. For examples, please refer to the 2023 Biennial Conference Small Group Mentoring Program Booklet.
If you have any questions, please email Erin Godly-Reynolds (egodlyre@charlotte.edu), preferably with “SCRA Mentoring” in the subject line. Thanks!
