Community Health Interest Group

Mission:

The Community Health Interest Group (CHIG) aspires to foster connections with different types of people involved in and invited to participate in the group (e.g., community researchers, students, practitioners, etc.) to help address unjust practices that serve to maintain health and wellbeing related disparities in marginalised communities. By responding to the health and wellbeing needs of our diverse communities, we aim to influence the quality of life for individuals at local, national and international levels. Accordingly, CHIG aims to expand and support its members in their ongoing work by providing a forum for discussion, collaboration, consultation and resource development through a series of activities.
