Investment Committee
Purpose & Function
The Investment Committee (IC) serves to actively manage a portfolio of financial instruments that secure the
financial future of SCRA by:

- Defining sources and uses of funds to support SCRA’s mission, vision, and strategy based on SCRA’s Statements, By-laws, and on input from the SCRA Executive Committee.
- Defining and periodically reviewing investment policies, and qualifying risk as appropriate for non-profit organizations, IRS guidelines, APA directives, and SCRA’s guidance on socially-responsible investing.
IC Tasks and Responsibilities

- Oversees the independent financial investment advisor and reviews the performance of this advisor.
- Provides onboarding and education to new IC members, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to contribute to fund oversight
