Professional Bio
Psychologist graduated from the Universidad de Panamá, currently pursuing a Master ‘s Degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurosciences at the Universidad de Granada, Spain. He has experience in clinical and school psychology, is the author of two book chapters as well as several encyclopedia chapters and articles. His work and research have been recognized by organizations, such as the National Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SENACYT) of Panama, and multiple divisions of the American Psychological Association, including Division 52, 49, and 35
CP and Me
He is passionate about community psychology, which has led him to become involved with a nonprofit foundation in Panama dedicated to helping children and youth at social risk. This foundation organizes health campaigns and mobile health initiatives that include specialists in medicine, nutrition, dentistry, and psychology, who voluntarily participate to provide integrated healthcare services to children and adolescents. Within this organization, Gabriel has risen to the position of Psychology Coordinator for Panama and West Panama and was recently appointed as National Director, enabling him to promote psychology-related activities across the entire country.
